Purdue is offering training in manufacturing practices for which Participants can earn certificates. These certificate programs are sponsored by the Manufacturing Extension Partnership, part of Purdue University's Technical Assistance Program. Job seekers and displaced workers may be eligible for training funds to pay for some of the courses. See below for a list of certificate programs currently in the Department of Workforce Development’s Training and Education Choices database.
Eligibility:
Interested persons should check with their local WorkOne office for eligibility. Information about the MEP certificate programs is available below under the certificate name. Print the individual brochures you are interested in and take them to your local WorkOne center to help you determine your eligibility. Training and Education Choices Database Program ID Numbers are listed on the bottom of the brochures for each certificate program.
Registration:
Online registration will be available when workshop dates are scheduled. If you are applying for DWD funds and want to hold a slot in one of the workshops, email your contact information along with the certificate program specifics to: MEPworkshops@purdue.edu.
Once you receive DWD approval and have your completed authorization in hand, you can register online at www.mep.purdue.edu/events as directed using the coupon code as your method of payment listed on the Certificate Program List below.
